In My Father's House

This is a collection of writings written in the days when it was the norm for a daughter to stay at home until marriage. During the years between girlhood and married life, young women used their days to prepare to be a wives and mothers. This compliation of essays from time past helps those who are striving to take up the noble calling to put God first in everything they do while single.

"The home daughter who is not discontented with her lot, but on the contrary who is willing to accept her household, her people and her quiet post of service as the one God meant for her, will not find time hanging heavily on her hands. There is much room for tillage in the home vineyard...Surely the home-daughter need not fear to magnify her place of honor in God's world" (p. 26).
